Today be sure to thank a veteran.

The past and present veterans have laid their lives on the line.

Remember to shake their hand or give a hug. 

Tell them how much you appreciate their service.

Their selfless sacrifice for our country is the highest honor.

Buy them a cup of coffee or a meal.

Go out of your way to say thank you.

Fly your flag with pride and honor those brave warriors.

Make a special trip to cemeteries to honor the graves.

A bouquet of flowers or a flag will be appreciated by all.

Volunteer to help the elderly veterans.

Stand up and show some kindness.

It is a small gesture for what they have given us.

I wish to thank all the brave men and women who have served and those still on duty.

I also want to send a big hug to all the service dogs for their brave assistance to our warriors.
